Exciting Changes for the 2024-2025 eCYBERMISSION Competition
The 2024-2025 eCYBERMISSION competition is upon us, and eCYBERMISSION is excited to announce the following changes to make this year the best ever!
Team Advisor Facebook Group
You’ve spoken and we listened. Being a Team Advisor is a learning experience, and we want to help you connect with fellow Team Advisors, share tips, and benefit from the incredible community of educators who bring eCYBERMISSION to their students each year. Only Team Advisors registered for the current competition year will be accepted into the Team Advisor Facebook group, so we highly encourage registering soon, even if you’re not ready to register your students, so that you have access to this community as early as possible. The link to join the Team Advisor Facebook Group will be available in your Team Advisor log in page after registration. Additionally, later this fall we will begin hosting monthly Team Advisor Forums on Zoom to help you connect with other Team Advisors live.
Mission Folder Attachments Cap
Beginning this year, attachments on Mission Folders will be limited to 40 pages total. We encourage teams to answer questions in the given blanks whenever possible and reserve the attachments for their photos, charts, and figures.
CyberGuides are now Mission Mentors
For over 20 years, our CyberGuides have supported and mentored students throughout the eCYBERMISSION competition, and we are excited to announce that their new name, Mission Mentors, will now reflect that! In addition to the name change, your teams will now be able to access Mission Mentors in new ways that fit your schedule. Team Chats, wherein single teams can meet with Mission Mentors to get focused support, will be available for sign up on a first-come, first-served basis. Classroom Live Chats will still be available for teachers who bring eCYBERMISSION to their entire classroom. Further, we are excited to begin bringing you monthly Instagram Live Chats with our Mission Mentors starting later this fall, so be sure you’re following us on Instagram at @aeop_eCYBERMISSION!
AI Guidance
Guidance on the allowable usage of AI has been added to the eCYBERMISSION rules. For the full list of rules, please visit www.ecybermission.com/CompetitionRules.
We hope you are as excited about these new changes as we are! Registration is now open at www.ecybermission.com/register.
