2021-2022 8th Grade National Winners

Team OMg tested an assortment of soil additives to determine which was most effective in increasing magnesium content in plants in an effort to fight magnesium deficiency in humans. Read their Mission Folder.


Team Stumptown
2020-2021 8th Grade National Winners

Team Stumptown researched how physical activity and physical therapy can reduce pain and improve physical function in adults and children suffering from arthritis or other types of rheumatic disease. Read their Mission Folder.



Memory Tygers
2017-2018 9th Grade National Winners

Team Memory Tygers worked to explore other cultures that have lower occurrences of neurodegenerative disease to help find natural remedies to combat them. Read their Mission Folder.


The Three Musketeeretts
2016-2017 9th Grade National Winners

Team The Three Musketeeretts worked to minimize Phantom Limb Sensation/Pain for amputees using cost effective virtual reality technology. They created a prototype using virtual reality with an armband and gesture control to create a cost-effective therapy that would be easily accessible to all amputees. Read their Mission Folder.

Las Chicas de Puerto Rico
2015-2016 6th Grade National Winners

Team Las Chicas de Puerto Rico investigated the effects of the Saharan dust levels on local respiratory issues and how to create an effective warning system for people who suffer from asthma in Puerto Rico. Read their Mission Folder.
