eCYBERMISSION's Autumn Adventures

It’s been a busy Fall here at eCYBERMISSION. We hit the road, from California to Florida, to spread the word about eCYBERMISSION and AEOP and meet educators and STEM enthusiasts across the country. Thank you to everyone who came to our workshops, booths, or even just said hello in the hallway!

2022 Future Ready Iowa Summit
September 21
We kicked off our Fall conferences with the Future Ready Iowa Summit in Des Moines, Iowa. Our STEM Relations Coordinator and Iowa native, Carey Dieleman, was onsite to meet with Iowa STEM educators about eCYBERMISSION.

Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association Conference
October 2 - 3
From Iowa, we headed to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association Conference. In addition to meeting with local Pennsylvania science teachers at our booth, we also hosted a workshop!

Advancing Indigenous People in STEM National Conference
October 6 - 8
Our third stop was the AISES National Conference in sunny Palm Beach, California! This time, we shared a booth with our friends from AEOP Apprenticeships and Fellowships. The highlight of the conference was the surprise visit from Deneen Hernandez, AISES Professional of the Year and former eCYBERMISSION volunteer!

Association of Middle Level Education Conference
November 3 - 5

From sunny Palm Springs to sunny Orlando, eCYBERMISSION crossed the country to attend the Association of Middle Level Educators 2022 Conference, where we were joined by our fellow AEOP program, GEMS.

DoDEA Grant Program Annual Professional Meeting
November 7 - 9

After first meeting at the Military Child Education Coalition Global Summit in July, we were invited to attend the DoDEA Grant Program Annual Professional Meeting in San Diego, California. The event was a success, and we loved connecting with educators from all over the country whose schools are benefiting from the DoDEA Grant Program.

Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching
November 10 – 12

Our third November adventure took us to Dallas, Texas for the Science Teachers Association of Texas’ Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching. NSTA Director of AEOP, Winnie Boyle, was onsite to meet with science educators from across the Lone Star State.

National Association of Gifted Children Convention
November 17 – 20

A successful season of conferences wrapped up with the National Association of Gifted Children Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Once again, STEM Relations Coordinator, Carey Dieleman, represented eCYBERMISSION and AEOP, meeting and chatting with attendees at our booth.

We’ll be hitting the road again throughout 2023, so make sure to follow us on social media to find out when we’re coming to a city near you! eCYBERMISSION registration is currently open at www.ecybermission.com/register.
