World Autism Awareness Day & Innovation in Autism
Today
is World Autism Awareness Day (April 2) and eCYBERMISSION wants to share with
our readers how STEM education at the middle school level can have a positive
impact in our communities.
Innovation in Autism is the 8th grade first-place national winning team that won first place in the last competition (2011-2012) that developed a device that would autonomously sense stereotypy, one of the most common behavioral issues in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
