Days 1-2 at the 2011 NSTA Area Conference in Hartford, Conn.
We just wrapped up our second day of the 2011 National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Area Conference here in Hartford, Conn. - and we are having a blast!
It's been fantastic to meet and speak with teachers from all over the country that have been able to attend the conference. So far, we've been able to chat with teachers from Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont and West Virginia!
Highlights from the first two days included giving a presentation on eCYBERMISSION to interested teachers and sitting in on a very informative session by NSTA Executive Director Francis Eberle and former NSTA President Harold Pratt on the new Next Generation Science Standards.
If you'd like to stop by and see us, we will be at booth #419 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. tomorrow!
Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for news and updates from the conference!
